With CHICO'S DIVE SHOP famous 1hr Scuba Lesson you will be not only ready but knowledgeable on the aspects of your first open water experience. This 1hr lesson is broken down in two parts. Your first half hour is dry theory with your instructor learning not only the how but also the why in basic equipment knowledge to communication and equalization skills. And, the other half hour is wet practical work in the convenience of 4ft. of water where you will practice your basic theory you have gained and gradually work your way to deeper waters of the pool.

NOTE: After completion of this course you will be allowed to join any of our scuba tours either to Los Arcos, Majahuitas/Las Animas Beach and perhaps Marietas Islands. CHICO'S DIVE SHOP gives you the unique opportunity to credit your first dives to our certification program if you so desire. In other words, after you first 2 tank dive you are half way to getting certified.
